I am SO VERY PLEASED to have searched and searched and tried different teapots to find the Farberware has just what I want SO very affordable! Who would of thought I could pay so little for a gem like this!
This teapot is fully functional. It is comfortable to handle, 1.5 quart capacity, secure lid, easy to remove that doesn't fall off and is easy to fill, removable whistle works great, not too loud, pours water with ease without dripping or splashing elsewhere and will no rust, even says so on the packaging! I was prepared to pay $30.00 or more to find the best stainless steel teapot and found I didn't have to spend even half that much with the Sausalito Teakettle.
Besides all this, it looks great too, very nice design and well made. I hesitated to get a polished stainless teakettle, but have found this one keeps looking great with no problem. This is IT so shop NO FURTHER for a GREAT teakettle at a GREAT PRICE!
If you are hesitant at all, let it be known that this company goes out of it's way to make sure you are happy with their products. If the whistle doesn't work or the product itself is unsatisfactory for any reason, they will replace or refund. They are GREAT to work with from past experience to make sure you get a good product. So go for it! You will be glad you did. :-)
