i got these as a gift two years ago...they are starting to break now...the knife part is coming away from the handles...can't even cut soft cheese with them anymore...very disappointed with them....gave them a three because they did last me acouple years and for the price i guess that is not a bad deal

Set includes: 8-Inch Chef, 8-inch Slicer, 5-inch Boning, 4-1/2-inch Utility, 3-inch Parer, Six 4-1/2-inch Steak Knives, and a natural wood block. Comfortable handle and a great variety of knives for everyday use.For cooks who like slim, lightweight, serrated knives that are touted as never needing sharpening, this set satisfies their every desire. Plus, all the knives fit into the laminated wood block that can be placed on a counter within reach. The kitchen knives include an 8-inch workhorse chef's knife; 8-inch carving knife for slicing tasks; 5-inch boning knife for meats, poultry, and fish; 5-inch utility knife; and 3-inch paring knife for peeling and cleaning vegetables and fruits. The steak knives have 4-1/2-inch blades and fit into the lower face of the two-level block.
