Customer Review: Whistle is a mere Whisper

Awhile ago, I put a kettle on for tea, and fell asleep. Fortunately, I awoke before any harm had been done. That's when I realized that I need a whistling tea kettle, one with a whistle loud enough to awaken me before the water burns away, and the house catches on fire.
In order for the whistle to be loud, the cap over the spout has to close tight, and on the Farberware kettle, it didn't. The whistle was merely a whisper, instead of a shout.
Not satisfactory.
