Customer Review: Exploding Lid

I just wanted to warn everyone that has these to be careful with them please. I was heating up some tomato sauce tonight in the 1 qt. saucepan with a lid on so that it didn't splash. I'd heated it and it was sitting on "warm" for about 5 minutes when all of a sudden the lid exploded. There was a large hole in the center and glass was everywhere. I have the stainless steel pans with glass lids. I'd never had a problem with glass lids before, and I'd been using these ones for a few weeks. I'll be contacting Farberware tomorrow to see if this is a common problem or if they have anything to say. Luckily there were no injuries, but it could have been bad and I wouldn't want it to happen to anyone else.
