I was a little skeptical about buying something that essentially slices potatoes one slice at a time, but found that yes this does save time and yes I like the way it slices. If you bake them in an oven you get many that come out almost like potato chips depending on how long you leave it in the oven. This may be due to the evenness of the slices which makes it very tasty and nice. I have only used it a couple of times, but expect to have this around for a long time. I already own a french fry slicer so I will probably not use the other blades.
